Dear KCHS Family,
I hope this message finds you enjoying a restful and rejuvenating summer with your loved ones. As we stand on the brink of a new school year, our excitement is intense. This year, we are not just embracing leadership but moving beyond it—toward buildership. Together, we will build a school community where every student, family, and staff member has a voice and an opportunity to contribute. Doing the next right thing is more than just a guiding principle; it’s a way of life here at Kent County High School. Student and Family Voice Your voices matter, and this year, we are committed to ensuring they are heard. Whether it’s through feedback opportunities, family forums, or student leadership initiatives, your perspectives will shape our school culture and practices. We encourage open communication and invite you to share your ideas, concerns, and aspirations with us. Embracing Service Service is at the heart of our Trojan community. From students participating in community service projects to families supporting school events, and staff going above and beyond in their roles, service is what connects us. This year, we will celebrate and amplify the spirit of giving back. It’s about more than what we do within our school walls; it’s about the impact we make together, beyond them. Communication is Key Our goal is to keep you informed and engaged. Expect regular updates through the school messenger system—via voice, email, and text messages. Please be sure to promptly complete and return the emergency cards on the first day of school, so we have the most up-to-date contact information for your family. You can also stay connected with us through our KCPS and KCHS websites and social media channels:
