The Blueprint for Maryland's Future is a major statewide effort passed by the General Assembly in 2021 to transform public education here into a world-class school system. 

The Blueprint will increase statewide education funding by $3.8 billion each year over 10 years, enrich student experiences and accelerate student outcomes, as well as improve the quality of education for all children in Maryland, especially those who have been historically underserved.

The State of Maryland required school systems, referred to as Local Education Agencies or LEAs, including Kent County Public Schools to submit an initial Blueprint Implementation Plan in March 2023. An updated plan must be submitted each year thereafter.
