Kent County Public Schools will be providing meals for children 18 years old and younger over the summer. Children do not need to be enrolled in Kent County Public Schools to receive these meals. The Child Advocacy Center in Kent County has shared information provided by Shared Hope who is developing comprehensive tools for parents, teachers, and all those working with youth to protect children from the traps predators lay with a plan to get these tools into as many adult hands as possible. They will raise awareness of grooming tactics, equip adults with knowledge of technology dangers, and provide tangible “how-to” safety tips. 

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has launched the NetSmartz website, offering safety information for families on topics including cyberbullying and online enticement and more.
