Special Education Information and Resources

Special Education is specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of a child with a disability. All services through the Office of Special Education are provided at no cost to parents of students with disabilities.

Special Education includes:

• Instruction conducted in the classroom, in the home, in hospitals and institutions and in other settings

• Speech pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, special transportation or any other related

• Vocational education consisting of specially designed instruction
