Teacher Appreciation Week #Thank a Teacher, with a photo of Kaitlyn Wright and her class

Kent County Public Schools is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, recognizing the important role our educators play in children's lives. Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10, with Tuesday, May 7 being recognized as National Teacher Day.

"During Teacher Appreciation Week, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers who dedicate themselves to shaping minds and nurturing spirits," said Dr. Karen Couch, superintendent of Kent County Public Schools. "Your unwavering commitment, passion and creativity empower students to reach their full potential and inspire a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are deeply thankful for the impact you make every day. Thank you for being champions of education and for shaping the future with your wisdom and guidance."
