Music teacher Jodi Bortz leads the Kent County High School band during the 15th annual Seasonal Sensations concert Wednesday, Dec. 13.
WORTON — The student musicians and budding chefs at Kent County High School provided an evening of holiday cheer Wednesday, Dec. 13 with the 15th annual Seasonal Sensations concert and dinner.
This was the first outing for music teacher Jodi Bortz leading the full Kent County High School Concert Band and the various combos through the annual holiday concert.

Kent County High School culinary arts students
Chef John Keller and the Culinary Arts students served up their traditional holiday meal.
The menu included a fresh spinach salad, homemade coleslaw, honey baked ham with a spiced raisin sauce, mashed potatoes, vegetable lasagna, mixed vegetables and for dessert Christmas cookies, gingerbread and whipped cream.

Proceeds from Seasonal Sensations, which included a silent auction, benefited the Kent County High School Music Program and will help cover the costs of their planned trip to Boston this spring.
