ROCK HALL — Summer break is close at hand for Kent County Public Schools.

The school year starts to wind down Wednesday, June 12 with half-day early dismissal for students at Kent County Middle School and Kent County High School only. 

The elementary schools operate on the regular schedule June 12.

Thursday, June 13 is a half day for all schools. It is also the last day of school for students.

On half days, the middle and high schools begin dismissal at 11:25 a.m. Half-day early dismissal for the elementary schools is 12:25 p.m. 

The last day for all 10-month Kent County Public Schools staff members is Friday, June 14.
