Kent County High School
Welcome to KCHS!

After serving as the Assistant Principal last year, I am overjoyed to be named the new principal of Kent County High School. Kent County High School has been blessed with so many successes, and it is the focus and determination of our administrative team to build upon the great foundation of excellence. I firmly believe that every student can achieve academic success and that our wonderful staff is more than capable of helping each student reach new heights. A great school is the bedrock of a healthy community and I hope to forge new relationships with the community and with business leaders to add to and enrich our students' educational experience. I am also a strong advocate of robust Career and Technical Programs of Study that provide our students with high quality skills and industry recognized credentials. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, and we look forward to a prosperous school year.

2nd Annual Future Aspirations Night

May 31, 2018

KCHS Auditorium

Seniors Arrive by 5:30 pm

Program begins 6:00 pm

On May 31st, we are having our 2nd Annual Future Aspirations Night. It is our goal that every senior has a viable plan after high school by furthering their education through college, military or the workforce.

We want students to be proud of their future goal for next year and we want to give them a chance to share that goal with teachers, family, and friends in the Class of 2018. Students will wear their cap and gown and be prepared to show the audience a representation of what they will be doing next year.

After the event in the auditorium, we are planning a cookout of hamburger and hotdogs, with sides in the courtyard. We are inviting parents, sibling(s), KCHS staff and their families. We want to celebrate as a school community this very special time for our Seniors, the Class of 2018!

If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Barbara Jones in the front office at 410-778-4540 or bcjones@kent.k12.md.us Share this event on Facebook and Twitter. We hope you can make it!Cheers,KCHS
