Kent County High School
Welcome to KCHS!

Greetings,
After serving as the Assistant Principal last year, I am overjoyed to be named the new principal of Kent County High School. Kent County High School has been blessed with so many successes, and it is the focus and determination of our administrative team to build upon the great foundation of excellence. I firmly believe that every student can achieve academic success and that our wonderful staff is more than capable of helping each student reach new heights. A great school is the bedrock of a healthy community and I hope to forge new relationships with the community and with business leaders to add to and enrich our students' educational experience. I am also a strong advocate of robust Career and Technical Programs of Study that provide our students with high quality skills and industry recognized credentials. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, and we look forward to a prosperous school year.

GLSEN National Day of Silence

April 27th is the GLSEN National Day of Silence campaign. LGBTQ youth and their allies participate to illustrate the silencing effect of bullying and harassment on LGBTQ students, their allies, and students who are perceived to be LGBTQ.
This will be our club's 6th year participating.
On April 27, 2018 the KCHS Gay-Straight Alliance is participating in the National Day of Silence for the 6th year in a row. Students participating take a vow of silence for the day in an effort to illustrate the silencing effect of bullying and harassment on LGBTQ students, their allies, and students who are perceived to be LGBTQ. Students volunteer to participate, carry cards detailing their participation, and are still required to participate in class. This day does not disrupt the normal school day
