Kent County High School PTSA

The Kent County High School Parent-Teacher-Student Association is in need of your help to continue our support of our students and school. The PTSA invites participation of parents, grandparents, teachers, students, and other caring members of our school community.
The KPTSA meets at 6 p.m. on the first Monday of each month from August to June. Our meetings are held in the KCHS Media Center. Please email us if you have any questions: [email protected].

The PTSA is seeking volunteers for our committees.
• Staff and Student Appreciation Committee: Organizes appreciation events
• Painted Parking Space Committee: An annual fundraising effort
• Trojan Trample Committee: Annual 5K fundraiser in partnership with the Athletic Boosters
• PTSA Scholarship: Awards scholarships
• Membership Committee: Helps man membership tables at Open Houses, Back To School Nights and other events and promotes PTSA membership

 2022 Kent County High School PTSA Scholarships
The Kent County High PTSA offers six (6) scholarships each spring to qualifying KCHS Seniors. 
These scholarships and their award amounts are: 
• (1) KCHS PTSA Scholarship ($750)
 • (1) Elmer T. Hawkins Scholarship ($750)
 • (4) PTA Council Memorial Scholarships ($250 each)

Upcoming PTSA Events

Paintball Fundraiser
Tickets are still available for the Kent County High School PTSA's upcoming paintball fundraiser. The event is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 2 at Outdoor Xtreme in Chesapeake City. 
Tickets are $10 each for admission and full equipment — a $35 value. Paintballs are not included; they will be sold separately. If you can't make it on the day of the event, your tickets will not expire.
Participants must be at least 10 years old.
Tickets are available at the Kent County High School front office and at lunch in the school on Fridays.
Waivers must be signed online or at the venue. 
To play, participants must wear a long-sleeved shirt as well as a hoodie, long jeans with sweatpants over them, gloves and sneakers or boots.
