ROCK HALL — Families and community members are invited to Rock Hall Elementary School later this month for a seasonal celebration.
The school's Spring Fling will kick off at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 24. Featuring a spring concert, food trucks and a silent auction, all proceeds will go to Rock Hall Elementary School.
Open to the entire community, the Spring Fling will be held in the school's parking lot, with student musical performances on the steps outside the gym.
The spring concert will open with pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and first grade students at 5:30 p.m., followed by second, third and fourth graders at 6 and fifth grade and the kazoo and ukulele bands at 6:30.
Local food trucks will be on hand starting at 5 p.m.
Themed baskets from each classroom will be up for bid during the silent auction. Additional auction items will include artwork, a fishing charter and donated items from local businesses and organizations.
Parents are being asked to check in with their children's home room teacher to see what types of themed auction items their class is collecting.
