Kent County Public Schools will be providing meals for children 18 years old and younger over the summer. Children do not need to be enrolled in Kent County Public Schools to receive these meals. Summer School

KCPS provides summer enrichment experiences for students.

Kent County Public Schools (KCPS) has established and implemented a summer school program for public school students to address the effects of the COVID–19 pandemic on education.

NWEA MAP data was used to determine eligibility along with formative/summative assessment data.

Per the requirements of Blueprint for Maryland’s Future, each student who participated in summer school received an educational assessment prior to beginning the program and on completion of the program. These assessments were used to evaluate program outcomes.
