WORTON — Kent County Public Schools Teacher of the Year Karen Carty will be driving this Ford Escape for the next year courtesy of Hertrich Ford of Elkton. Carty, who teaches science at Kent County Middle School, received the keys from Mike Croce, general manager of the Hertrich Group, at the home opener for the Kent County High School football team Friday evening, Sept. 9.
