CHESTERTOWN — The Kent County Public Schools Family Support Resource Center held its annual fair Wednesday evening, March 23.

Those attending the Community Resource Fair at Kent County Middle School received information from a number of agencies and organizations related to the support of families with children with disabilities.

Organizations on hand included in-county and regional service providers. Additional organizations were not able to have a representative present  but did have information available for families at the fair.

"We want to thank our local organizations for their continued partnership with Kent County Public Schools," said Elizabeth Proffitt, parent coordinator for the Family Support Resource Center.

The Family Support Resource Center’s mission is to provide information, referrals, workshops and direct support through a variety of strategies for families, educators and the community to assist in understanding special education and early intervention processes.
