Schools host open houses for students, families
ROCK HALL — Parents and students visited classrooms and met teachers Thursday, Aug. 25 during Back to School open houses held by Kent County Public Schools.

Kent County High School and Kent County Middle School welcomed families in the morning. Galena, H.H. Garnet and Rock Hall elementary schools hosted their open houses in the afternoon.

In addition to seeing their classrooms and exploring the buildings, students at the designated Title I schools took home a free book as part of a giveaway.

The new school year begins Monday, Aug. 29.
