The Kent County Public School System has been in a partnership with Aramark Education since 1988. The Department of Environmental Services is managed by Wayne Bedwell. This department is responsible for the daily operations of all Kent County Public Schools facilities. These include eight schools, one central administration building, and a ground complex next to Worton Elementary School. Total square footage of buildings currently being maintained is 568,172. Kent County is dedicated to a learning evironment that is clean and safe. Our role is to make KCPS a place that is conducive to learning for all children whether in a classroom or on a sports field.
