Kent County Public Schools will be providing meals for children 18 years old and younger over the summer. Children do not need to be enrolled in Kent County Public Schools to receive these meals. Please fill out our Summer Meal Survey at https://tinyurl.com/bdh6puhj to help us better understand the needs of our community for summer meals. The information you provide below will only be used in the planning process for summer meal distribution.

8th Grade Laptop Info and Forms

Welcome Back!
Each 8th grader will receive a brand new laptop this year to help KCPS fulfill an integral part of its mission to personalize learning for students.  Your child is expected to use this same  laptop until they graduate.  In order to keep the laptop protected, KCPS is requiring parents or guardians to select one of the following options:
  1. 1.  Technology Fee ($40)
  2. 2.  Group Insurance ($80)
  3. 3.  Proof of homeowner or renter insurance
The attached letter explains the options in more detail.
In addition your child will need to return the following completed forms  on Wednesday, August 31st in order to receive a laptop on that day.   These forms will be handed to your child to take home on Tuesday, August 30th.
  1. Technology Fee Letter Option Selection  (payment not due until Sept. 30th)
  2. Responsible Use Procedures (parent and student signature required)
  3. Student laptop contract  (parent/ guardian signature)
  4. Optional: Group Insurance (attached- fill in child's name and serial number of the computer which is listed on the laptop contract)
